EURYDICE

Eurydice is the limit that art can reach; hidden under the name like a cover of a veil, she is that bottomless dark point to which art, desire, death and night are drawn. She is the center of the night within the night. 

The one whom she could serve was only able to lead her back to the light of day, in order to clothe her in shape of reality, but not to know her true essence, which she so passionately and hopelessly desired.

Now, with the second descent into the underworld, after Orpheus having looked at her was blinded by her and lost her, how can Eurydice herself come to terms with her nature, which she is not able to realize without a third-party look, but which no one can see a priori for real. After all, the mortal consciousness is unable to withstand a direct look at the source of the many-sided driving force that impels creation to action and causes the birth of true art.

Only she herself can master this power of the unified passion, without being absorbed by its crushing stream.
